History

The LearJet 60 Is a mid-size executive jet with two powerful motors Pratt & Whitney Canada, the cabin of this model offers a spacious environment that has capacity for 8 passengers and 2 crew members, the dimensions of the cabin are: a length of 17.67m, a height of 5.7m and a Width of 5.9m.

The first flight of this airplane was on October 10th 1991, is the predecessor of the LearJet 55 with more efficient fan jet engines. This model is well known for its climbing performance: 12,49m (41.000 fet) in 18.5 minutes with maximum weight.

The Lear 60 Was manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace, introduced to the market on January 1993 and remained in production until 2012 having built 400 of these jets. Its use is mostly for executive purposes but it also can be found in government and military institutions.
